WHO WE ARE
Refined planting for modern workspaces
AFW | Facilities is a design led planting business specialising in refined indoor planting and terrace gardens for modern workspaces.
Founded by Alex Fluin, AFW is built on a genuine love of plants and a belief that good planting should feel natural, considered, and long lasting.
We design planting that feels considered, sits naturally within its surroundings, and continues to look good over time. Everything we do is guided by horticultural knowledge and shaped around the realities of working environments.
OUR PURPOSE
Plants that perform over time
Our purpose is to make planting work not just on day one, but long after installation.
That means designing schemes around light levels, how spaces are used, and the care they’ll need to stay healthy. Weekly maintenance is included as standard, so planting is looked after properly and never becomes an added task.

Planting designed for real working environments
We currently work exclusively with workspaces, including offices, shared buildings, front of house areas, and terraces.
Focusing on workspaces allows us to understand how these environments operate day to day from access and security to minimising disruption and to deliver planting that supports both wellbeing and brand experience.

AFW | Plant Design was founded by Alex Fluin, a horticulturist with a background in garden design and experience working within commercial environments.
AFW was created to address a common gap in workplace planting schemes that look good initially, but aren’t designed around how plants are actually maintained day to day. By building maintenance considerations into the design stage, AFW aims to create planting that performs better over time.
Alex is directly involved in each project, ensuring every scheme is carefully considered and refined as it develops.
